Come sit (or lay) down by the fireplace as Joe reads you a story. Perhaps it’s to leave you daydreaming, or falling fast asleep. No matter. What’s important is you know that you have somewhere warm and inviting, with the sound of a crackling fire, and the sweet smell of cherry in the the air. And you have this anytime you feel like you could use a break from the outer world.

January 13, 2023 at 10:30 pmJoe, what a wonderful idea! I plan on listening when I lie down tonight. As many have pointed out, you have the most mellifluous, soothing voice I’ve ever heard. Also, these would be an excellent thing to put out via podcast! Thanks for all that you do.

February 22, 2023 at 7:21 pmI read stories to my son when it was time for bed … I even included some of my own life stories as a means to share my past … but my parents did not read to me or my siblings, and now with the help of cyberspace and your website I can have someone read stories to me before retiring … Joe, I just may follow through on this, because it sounds like a good idea and it’s been too long, and it’s never too late.
